SAP FICO Architect, S/4HANA & Financials Consulting
Overview
You will lead the design and rollout of SAP Financials across S/4HANA, delivering end-to-end implementations for enterprise clients. You partner with Accounting, Finance, SD, MM, Tax, and Lease Management teams to architect solutions that meet complex business needs. This role demands deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA, Fiori Apps, BPC, and SAC, and a track record of steering multiple full-lifecycle implementations. You own the financial blueprint, from requirements through go-live, and drive adoption of best practices in a global context.
What You'll Do8
- 1Design and architect SAP S/4HANA Financials solutions, configuring FICO modules for General Ledger, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Controlling.
- 2Lead blueprint workshops with business stakeholders to capture requirements and map them to SAP best practices, ensuring alignment with Accounting, Finance, SD, MM, Tax, and Lease Management.
- 3Configure and implement Fiori Apps for financial processes, enabling real-time analytics and streamlined user experiences.
- 4Integrate SAP S/4HANA with BPC and SAC for planning, consolidation, and profitability analysis, delivering unified reporting.
- 5Drive data migration and cutover activities, ensuring data integrity across legacy and SAP systems.
- 6Optimize financial close cycles by leveraging SAP automation tools and best practices, reducing month-end time by 20%.
- 7Provide expert guidance on SAP integration points with MM and SD, ensuring seamless material and revenue recognition.
- 8Support post-go-live stabilization and continuous improvement, resolving complex SAP issues and enhancing system performance.
Requirements8
- 110+ years of experience in SAP Financials, with 5+ years in an architect role.
- 23+ full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations, with at least 2 as lead architect.
- 3Expert-level proficiency in SAP FICO configuration (GL, AP, AR, AA, CO) and integration with MM/SD.
- 4Hands-on experience with Fiori Apps, BPC, and SAC in an S/4HANA environment.
- 5Strong working knowledge of SAP Tax, Lease Management, and Treasury modules.
- 6Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- 7Ability to travel up to 50% to client sites (Berkeley Heights, NJ or Alpharetta, GA).
- 8Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience leading global teams.
