Salon Stylist – Seasonal at Cal-Am Properties in Phoenix
Overview
This role owns hair cutting and styling duties for salon clients at RV resorts and manufactured home communities in Phoenix. You will work onsite on a contract basis and contribute to an excellent guest experience at scale across multiple properties. You will perform a broad range of beauty services while maintaining safety, hygiene, and client records. This position emphasizes customer service, physical stamina, and the ability to adapt to various hair types and service offerings.
What You'll Do9
- 1Build and perform hair cutting, styling, and salon services for clients
- 2Shampoo, condition, and treat hair while recommending appropriate services and products
- 3Maintain client records and schedule appointments to optimize bookings
- 4Conduct reception duties and process transactions with accuracy
- 5Ensure safety and hygiene standards and wear protective gear during services
- 6Handle routine housekeeping duties to maintain a clean work area
- 7Provide scalp treatments, coloring, and conditioning services as requested
- 8Communicate clearly with clients about recommendations and aftercare
- 9Manage equipment and products to accommodate a variety of hair lengths and textures

- 1Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and endure the physical demands of a salon shift
- 2Prolonged exposure to chemicals may occur; wear protective clothing
- 3Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- 4Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- 5Ability to read product information and make safe recommendations
- 6Ability to perform reception duties and manage appointments
