Salesforce Business Analyst, Phoenix Hybrid
Overview
You will own the full lifecycle of Salesforce enhancements, from requirement gathering to post-launch support, for a Phoenix-based enterprise client. Working with cross-functional teams, you will bridge business needs and technical implementation, ensuring Sales Cloud and Service Cloud deployments meet operational goals. This contract role spans 6 months with extension potential, and includes travel within the Phoenix area. You will drive process improvements and user adoption through Agile practices, focusing on tangible outcomes from day one.
What You'll Do8
- 1Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders for Salesforce projects, converting them into functional specs for the development team.
- 2Build and maintain process flows, data maps, and documentation to support system changes and enhancements.
- 3Analyze current workflows using Salesforce tools to identify gaps and recommend improvements.
- 4Configure and test Salesforce objects, workflows, validation rules, and reports to align with business needs.
- 5Manage project timelines and deliverables, coordinating with IT and business leads to ensure on-time releases.
- 6Facilitate user training sessions and change management activities to drive adoption of new features.
- 7Act as the liaison between business units and IT, translating technical details into clear business terms.
- 8Support Agile ceremonies using JIRA or Azure DevOps to track progress and requirements.
Requirements9
- 15+ years as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or IT Analyst, with 2+ years focused on Salesforce.
- 2Proven ability to gather and document business and technical requirements.
- 3Hands-on experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or other Salesforce modules.
- 4Experience working in cross-functional teams within an Agile environment (SCRUM or SAFe).
- 5Working knowledge of JIRA or Azure DevOps for project tracking.
- 6Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- 7Preferred: Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM 201) or Business Analyst certification.
- 8Experience with data migration, integration tools, or Salesforce APIs is a plus.
- 9Local to Phoenix, AZ, with ability to travel for client meetings.
