Sales Representative, Music School & Customer Enrollment
Overview
You'll own front-of-house sales and enrollment at Bach to Rock Cypress, greeting families, managing tours, and driving revenue for music lessons and camps. Reporting to the School Director, you'll partner with faculty to ensure seamless scheduling through Harmony Gateway and support daily operations. This role needs a music-trained professional with sales chops who thrives on connecting people to music education.
What You'll Do10
- 1Greet customers in person, answer phone calls, and deliver detailed program descriptions to drive enrollment.
- 2Give tours of the facility, showcasing music classrooms, the performing space, and the recording studio.
- 3Manage retail operations, including inventory, sales, and customer service to support revenue.
- 4Coordinate student arrival and departure, ensuring safety and smooth transitions for families.
- 5Partner with the School Director to optimize class, staff, and student schedules using Harmony Gateway.
- 6Secure student recruitment and retention for private lessons, bands, and classes through proactive outreach.
- 7Provide guidance to parents and students, collaborating with staff to prioritize student interests.
- 8Handle complex scheduling for classes, camps, and lessons, adapting to changing needs.
- 9Support administrative duties, including record-keeping, time-tracking, and basic bookkeeping.
- 10Monitor and adjust teaching materials and methods to ensure high-quality instruction and assessment.
Requirements10
- 1High school diploma or GED.
- 21+ years in customer service and 1+ years in sales.
- 3Musical training beyond amateur level in at least one instrument.
- 4Deep interest in music and music education.
- 5Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations and build rapport with young people.
- 6Strong interpersonal skills for faculty, staff, and parent interactions.
- 7Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn Harmony Gateway.
- 8Problem-solving skills and adaptability to changes in a fast-paced environment.
- 9Ability to work evenings or weekends as needed for events.
- 10Successful completion of post-offer background check.
