What You'll Do9
- 1Build comprehensive lesson plans incorporating curriculum development tailored to students ages abilities emphasizing technical skills and creative exploration
- 2Teach piano guitar violin techniques and performance skills integrating visual arts theater choreography dance instruction as appropriate
- 3Organize and lead rehearsals for two performances per year Spring and Winter recital presence coaching to enhance student confidence on stage
- 4Assess student progress regularly through evaluations feedback sessions and portfolio development adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs
- 5Support development in related creative areas such as photography sewing cooking or childcare when applicable broadening artistic horizons
- 6Demonstrate proven experience working with children in educational extracurricular arts settings
- 7Exhibit expertise in teaching visual performing arts including music theory instrumental performance or related fields
- 8Maintain engaging learning environment familiarity with special education practices supporting diverse learners in creative arts instruction
- 9Collaborate with staff to foster community of learners passionate about music and arts
Requirements7
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons leading youth programs teaching arts extracurricular activities promoting childhood development through creative expression
- 35+ years experience working with children in educational extracurricular arts settings
- 43-5 seasons demonstrating expertise in teaching visual performing arts including music theory instrumental performance
- 5Certification in relevant field such as CPC Card or BCBA
- 6Proven track record developing interdisciplinary curricula combining music with other creative disciplines
- 7Ability to work flexible hours in-person location Austin Texas
