What You'll Do10
- 1Identify and develop new business opportunities across Northern California, targeting pharmaceutical, biotech, and academic accounts.
- 2Prospect CRO and research organizations, generate qualified leads, and maintain an active pipeline in CRM.
- 3Manage the complete sales process from outreach to quotation, negotiation, and closing.
- 4Prepare pricing, proposals, and technical product information tailored to customer needs.
- 5Build long-term relationships with existing customers and expand business within assigned accounts.
- 6Discuss chemical products and research applications with scientists and purchasing teams.
- 7Collaborate with internal teams including Customer Service, Marketing, and R&D to resolve customer requirements.
- 8Attend scientific conferences, trade shows, and industry events to network and generate leads.
- 9Monitor market activity, competitive trends, and emerging opportunities in the life sciences sector.
- 10Achieve individual revenue goals and contribute to team sales objectives consistently.
Requirements8
- 1Bachelor's degree in Organic Chemistry, Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Life Sciences strongly preferred.
- 21-3 years of sales, business development, or account management experience preferred.
- 3Experience selling scientific products or services to pharmaceutical or biotech markets highly desirable.
- 4Strong understanding of organic chemistry and ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- 5Proven prospecting, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- 6Ability to independently manage a Northern California territory with strong organizational skills.
- 7Proficiency with CRM tools for tracking opportunities and activities.
- 8Must currently reside in Northern California.
