Flow Cytometry Sales Representative, SF & Nevada
Overview
Own and drive sales of flow cytometry hardware and consumables across San Francisco and Nevada, targeting a $220K-$240K total compensation package. You will report to the Regional Sales Manager and collaborate with a technical sales team to expand our footprint in academic, pharmaceutical, and biotech accounts. This role offers the autonomy of remote work with 70% travel, backed by the resources of Beckman Coulter Life Sciences and Danaher's continuous improvement system. You will be the frontline partner for scientists, helping them accelerate critical answers through automation.
What You'll Do8
- 1Sell flow cytometry hardware to assigned quotas, prospecting and closing new accounts.
- 2Sell consumables to assigned quotas, growing existing customer revenue.
- 3Manage assigned territory accounts, building relationships with key decision-makers.
- 4Identify competitive business and develop programs to expand our influence and presence.
- 5Call on prospective and current customers, presenting product solutions and negotiating terms.
- 6Involve technical personnel to resolve customer issues and ensure satisfaction.
- 7Participate in setting sales targets and designing the territory's sales plan.
- 8Control sales expenses and provide accurate forecasts and pipeline reports.
Requirements10
- 1Must live in the greater San Francisco area.
- 2Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field with 5+ years sales experience OR Master’s degree with 1+ years experience.
- 3Solid tactical sales skills: prospecting, qualifying, closing, and growing accounts.
- 4Practical experience and/or knowledge of flow cytometry equipment.
- 5Highly motivated, success-driven, with strong communication and presentation skills.
- 6Excellent time and territory management habits.
- 7Ability to travel 70% within territory with overnights.
- 8Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- 9Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment up to 50lb.
- 10Experience with SFDC and Microsoft Office is a plus.
