Sales Operations Manager, Quote-to-Order & Salesforce
Overview
Own the day-to-day Sales Operations function at Aqueduct Technologies, a top IT solutions provider, handling quote-to-order execution across a high-volume, complex transaction environment. Lead a team of operational specialists, drive Salesforce governance, and ensure accurate forecasting, reporting, and order processing at scale. Partner with Sales, Finance, and Enterprise Applications to strengthen process discipline and data quality while protecting margin and customer experience. Advance approved generative AI and workflow automation within governance frameworks to reduce manual work and improve cycle times. This role combines hands-on deal execution with team leadership and cross-functional influence in a hybrid role based in Canton, MA.
What You'll Do8
- 1Lead and coach the Sales Operations team, setting clear priorities, service levels, and workload allocation based on deal complexity.
- 2Oversee end-to-end quote-to-order execution in Salesforce, including pricing validation, distributor coordination, and complex deal reviews.
- 3Build and maintain dashboards for pipeline, bookings, gross profit, and forecast risk, ensuring data quality and actionable insights.
- 4Conduct pipeline reviews to catch incomplete or duplicate opportunities, preventing inaccurate bookings in Salesforce.
- 5Coordinate with Sales, Finance, and vendors to resolve pricing, margin, and fulfillment issues, reducing order errors and rework.
- 6Drive adoption of approved AI and automation tools for data-quality monitoring, quote comparison, and reporting drafts.
- 7Implement process improvements that reduce cycle times and enhance accountability across order-to-cash workflows.
- 8Train the team on Salesforce best practices, effective prompting, and output validation for AI-assisted work.
Requirements8
- 15-8 years in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or commercial operations within a technology reseller or complex transaction environment.
- 2Hands-on Salesforce experience with opportunity management, pipeline reporting, dashboards, and data quality.
- 3Experience leading or supervising an operational team.
- 4Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or comparable analytics tools.
- 5Familiarity with hardware, software, subscriptions, and professional services deal structures.
- 6Proven track record improving processes, documenting procedures, and driving adoption in high-volume operations.
- 7Strong analytical and communication skills, able to translate complex issues into clear recommendations for leadership.
- 8Ability to manage multiple projects independently, from definition through execution, with minimal oversight.
