Sales Manager, Hospitality & Accounts Growth
Overview
Own the hotel sales pipeline and drive revenue across group and transient accounts at scale. Lead new business development, contract negotiation, and client presentations to maximize profitability while ensuring guest satisfaction. Collaborate with marketing, operations, and events teams to deliver a unique Azul Hospitality experience and secure repeat business. This role is distinguished by direct client engagement, on-site inspections, and a proactive, brand-driven sales approach.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build relationships with group and transient clients to maximize revenue and repeat business
- 2Design and negotiate contracts and proposals that meet or exceed hotel revenue goals
- 3Deliver on-site and field presentations to prospective clients and trade partners
- 4Prospect new business through calls, trade shows, community events, internet prospecting, and partnerships
- 5Identify upsell opportunities in food & beverage, room upgrades, AV and spa services and close deals to boost ADR and revenue
- 6Drive strategies to develop long term business relationships and repeat business
- 7Attend tradeshows and conduct site inspections to create a WOW experience for customers
- 8Create customized menus and proposals and respond to inquiries within 24 hours
- 9Coordinate with hotel departments to ensure services agreed with clients are delivered
- 10Maintain accurate booking details, client communications, and follow-up tasks
Requirements5
- 1High school or equivalent required and bachelor degree preferred
- 2One to two years of sales experience in hospitality preferred
- 3Valid driver's license required due to mobility needs
- 4Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relations skills
- 5Ability to travel occasionally and work variable schedules
