What You'll Do11

- 4Lead daily operations including opening and closing the store when needed
- 5Supervise associates across departments and manage performance
- 6Conduct safety walks report hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocols
- 7Communicate upward to share management insights about concerns and morale
- 8Drive initiatives to improve sales and service outcomes within the department
- 9Collaborate with leaders to identify best practices for customer focus
- 10Ensure adequate department coverage and handle non-customer facing tasks
- 11Maintain accurate inventory levels and address operational challenges
Requirements11
- 1High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years of retail experience
- 2Minimum 1 year customer service experience
- 3Ability to lift 25 pounds independently with occasional assistance
- 4Experience directing teams either with or without direct reports
- 5Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
- 6Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- 7Valid sales related licensure if required by law
- 83 years retail customer service experience
- 9Support for Pro customers preferred
- 10Leadership experience with direct report responsibility
- 11Familiarity with home improvement retail environment
