Overview
Lead workplace safety environmental compliance and security initiatives across Maryland and Washington DC markets. Partner with Operations Sales and HR to foster proactive safety culture. Manage EHS and security programs ensure regulatory compliance and drive continuous improvement.
What You'll Do11
- 1Design Build Safety Training Programs for local teams and conduct monthly Safety Committee Meetings
- 2Develop Assign Safety Training Processes for DOT and OSHA Compliance
- 3Create Manage Physical Security Policies and Coordinate with Law Enforcement Agencies
- 4File and Manage Workers Compensation Claims and Conduct Accident Investigations
- 5Maintain OSHA 300 Log and File OSHA 300A Reports Annually
- 6Oversee Vehicle Claims Property Injury Coverage and Monitor MVR Records
- 7Educate Transportation Leaders on DOT Reporting Requirements and Audit Risks
- 8Implement Green Roads Program and Address Unacceptable Driving Behaviors
- 9Conduct Quarterly Warehouse Inspections and Develop Corrective Action Plans
- 10Establish First Responder Program with CPR and First Aid Training
- 11Drive Continuous Improvement Initiatives to Reduce Risk Protect Employees and Promote Environmental Stewardship
Requirements7
- 1Associates and/or Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience 5+ years in safety and security roles
- 2Proficiency in PC skills MS Office Presentation Software and Analytical Reporting
- 3Results-oriented professional with strong communication and customer service skills
- 4Ability to multitask Independently Within Teams Pay Attention To Detail Meet Deadlines
