What You'll Do10
- 1Coordinate and facilitate safety training and incentive programs while maintaining cost and frequency statistics
- 2Perform accident investigations and provide resources for environmental and hazardous material issues
- 3Lead pre-Task Plans and Job Hazard Analyses for project-specific safety submissions
- 4Oversee site safety records and drug testing program for craft hourly workers
- 5Represent Balfour Beatty at safety professional meetings and alliances
- 6Manage safety personnel and consultants including OSHA 30 certification requirements
- 7Drive implementation of safety and loss prevention programs across multiple job sites
- 8Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations through thorough documentation and audits
- 9Develop and track safety training for project personnel and supervisors
- 10Maintain detailed records of all safety-related activities and incidents
Requirements9
- 1Bachelor of Science in Safety & Environmental Health or related field
- 2Minimum 5 years safety experience with at least 50% preventative focus
- 3Minimum 4 years commercial construction safety experience
- 42+ years supervisory experience
- 5OSHA 30 certification required
- 6US citizenship mandatory for federal contract compliance
- 7Proficiency with PC and Microsoft Office suite demonstrated
- 8Strong leadership abilities with proven track record in safety program development
- 9Commitment to Zero Harm philosophy and environmental responsibility
