Build policy, training, and incident response that scale from Tempe to nationwide sites. This role combines hands on field leadership with strategic program development to protect workers and ensure regulatory compliance.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Lead and oversee safety programs across multiple projects nationwide
  • 2Ensure OSHA compliance and local, state, and federal safety requirements
  • 3Conduct regular site visits, audits, and risk assessments to enforce safety standards
  • 4Develop, implement, and improve safety policies, procedures, and training
  • 5Lead, mentor, and develop Safety Coordinators and field personnel
  • 6Facilitate new hire safety orientations and ongoing trainings for all levels
  • 7Draft weekly Tailgate Talks and safety communications
  • 8Investigate incidents and drive corrective actions and documentation
  • 9Communicate safety performance, trends and opportunities to executive leadership
  • 10Collaborate with operations, clients, and partners to strengthen safety culture

Requirements10

  • 1Minimum of 5+ years of safety management experience in construction or bridge maintenance
  • 2Ability to travel nationally up to 80% of the year
  • 3OSHA 500 certification required, OSHA 510 preferred
  • 4CSP certification preferred
  • 5Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and Workers’ Compensation practices
  • 6Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • 7Experience leading safety programs in construction or transportation environments
  • 8Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • 9Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
  • 10Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
