- 1Lead, mentor, and manage a team of safety professionals providing guidance and development opportunities
- 2Collaborate with project staff and subcontractor representatives to define safety roles aligned with Zero Accident Plan
- 3Conduct and document weekly safety meetings with subcontractor representatives to promote awareness and compliance
- 4Ensure compliance with local state and federal safety regulations
- 5Investigate incidents and analyze root causes to generate corrective action recommendations
- 6Perform weekly jobsite inspections documenting violations and implementing corrective measures
- 7Enforce drug and alcohol policy including site drug testing
- 8Deliver safety training sessions fostering proactive safety culture
- 9Provide safety orientation for new employees and trade partners
- 10Review subcontractor safety training documentation and provide guidance
- 11Maintain organized safety documentation including incident reports and training records
- 12Identify improvement opportunities and implement preventive measures
- 13Stay current with industry trends and enhance construction safety knowledge
- 14Utilize Excel Procore Bluebeam and CMiC to manage safety data
Requirements5
- 1Minimum 5-8 years progressive construction safety experience with leadership responsibilities
- 2Strong knowledge of OSHA standards 29 CFR 1926 for construction safety
- 3At least BCSP CHST certification
- 4Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
- 5Proficiency with Excel Procore Bluebeam and CMiC preferred
