RPLS Project Manager, Land Surveying & Client Leadership
Overview
Own and lead surveying projects from inception to completion at scale, coordinating cross functional teams and client communications. You will manage planning, budgeting, risk, and quality assurance to deliver accurate survey deliverables. This role blends project management with technical surveying expertise and client relationship management. What You'll Do10
- 1Build project plans with timelines, budgets, and resource requirements to drive on time delivery
- 2Lead client communications and serve as primary point of contact for project related matters
- 3Coordinate survey crews, surveyors, and support staff to align with project goals
- 4Manage budgets, expenses, and resource allocation ensuring cost effective execution
- 5Oversee quality control processes to guarantee data accuracy and high quality deliverables
- 6Document project progress, change orders, and client communications accurately
- 7Review active projects and WIP to determine invoicing timing and prepare draft invoices
- 8Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely completion
- 9Promote safety compliance and maintain a culture of safety within the team
- 10Travel as needed to client sites and project locations
Requirements9
- 1Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying Geomatics or related field preferred
- 2Registered Professional Land Surveyor RPLS licensure or certification highly desirable
- 3Experience in project management within land surveying or related field
- 4Proven track record of successfully managing multiple surveying projects
- 5Excellent project management skills including budgeting and scheduling
- 6Strong leadership communication and client relationship management abilities
- 7Knowledge of surveying principles techniques and software tools
- 8Proficiency with project management software and tools
- 9Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed
