Route Delivery Driver FarmArt Produce
Overview
Drive produce and dairy deliveries across the tri-state area. This is a five day a week position requiring a clean driving record and background. We seek friendly professional drivers to deliver goods to restaurants hotels schools and more.
What You'll Do12
- 1Operate a 14 ft to 26 ft Straight Truck or van following DOT regulations and company safety policies
- 2Perform deliveries pickups and returns of produce dairy and dry goods to FarmArt customers and suppliers
- 3Maintain a satisfactory driving record and adhere to company guidelines regarding quality assurance and safety
- 4Review paperwork for assigned routes to ensure invoices are present and completed accurately
- 5Prepare customer orders by verifying them with delivery invoices for accuracy delivering them to customer facilities and assisting with check-in
- 6Assist Warehouse in picking and loading shorted product for delivery routes
- 7Make supervisor aware of any delivery delays shorts or errors that may require an additional delivery
- 8Make all deliveries assigned by supervisor including route deliveries and late runs or pickups
- 9Complete organize and turn in all appropriate paperwork and invoices obtain signatures on invoices and collect payments when necessary
- 10Maintain truck cleanliness and meet company standards for daily truck maintenance
- 11Maintain a professional appearance while conducting oneself as the public image uniforms are provided
- 12Make necessary vendor pickups on return to warehouse

- 1Pass pre-employment drug test background Motor Vehicle Record criminal and reference check
- 2Physical ability to stand bend stoop kneel reach twist lift push pull climb balance crouch handle and move items weighing up to 60 lb repeatedly
- 3Ability to follow oral and written directions
- 4Experience operating a commercial vehicle deck plates handcart hand jack and other related equipment
- 5Outstanding customer service and communication skills exceptional teamwork skills and a can-do attitude
