Overview
You own the delivery route for Tweeds Dry Cleaning, serving Philadelphia with full size cargo vans. What You'll Do8
- 1Drive full size cargo vans safely on assigned routes, adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
- 2Load and unload dry cleaning orders at each stop, ensuring every garment is handled with care.
- 3Navigate routes effectively to meet delivery windows, reducing drive time and fuel costs.
- 4Greet customers with a positive attitude, resolving any inquiries or concerns on the spot.
- 5Coordinate with warehouse staff to confirm order accuracy before each departure.
- 6Document deliveries and pickups in the route log, flagging any issues for the dispatch team.
- 7Inspect the van daily for cleanliness and mechanical readiness, reporting any maintenance needs.
- 8Maintain a clean driving record and a valid driver's license at all times.
Requirements8
- 11+ year as a delivery route driver or in a similar driving role.
- 21+ year of customer service or sales experience, with strong communication skills.
- 3Clean driver's license and a satisfactory background check.
- 4High School diploma or equivalent.
- 5Ability to operate full size cargo vans safely and efficiently.
- 6Physical stamina to constantly enter and exit the vehicle and move garments.
- 7Familiarity with local routes and traffic patterns in Philadelphia.
- 8Experience in warehouse operations or logistics is a plus.
