You own the client experience and route reliability for Water Works Laundromat's laundry delivery service in Newark, NJ. Operating a large van across the city, you handle pickups, drop-offs, and heavy lifting (50 lbs) while keeping clients happy. What You'll Do8
- 1Drive the delivery van safely around Newark for client pickups and drop-offs.
- 2Load, unload, and sort laundry bags, carrying up to 50 lbs up and down stairs.
- 3Interact professionally with clients and teammates, representing the laundromat.
- 4Complete order logs accurately and keep routes organized each day.
- 5Park the van at its designated location, 20 minutes from the store.
- 6Maintain the van's interior and exterior cleanliness.
- 7Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- 8Report mechanical issues, dashboard alerts, or damages to management promptly.
Requirements8
- 1Proven experience as a delivery driver.
- 2Valid driver's license with no accidents or citations.
- 3Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs of laundry.
- 4High School diploma or equivalent.
- 5Clear English communication; bilingual preferred.
- 6Excellent organizational skills and a positive attitude.
- 7Flexibility for early morning and evening hours as needed.
- 8Full-time availability, 8am to 3pm, Monday-Friday.
