Overview
Lead the engineering design and release of sunroof systems for Stellantis in Detroit. Own end to end development from concept to production while meeting vehicle functional goals. Deliver component design packaging DVPR testing change management BOM maintenance prototype support issues management CAD model management in Teamcenter weight reduction cost reduction initiatives and communicate technical status to management. Support assembly plants field warranty teams and root cause analysis.
What You'll Do9
- 1Build and deliver component designs packaging and release processes
- 2Develop Design Verification Plan and Report testing protocols
- 3Manage change requests and maintain accurate bills of material
- 4Provide prototype and production build support
- 5Identify and resolve technical issues at assembly plants
- 6Assist service teams with field warranty problems

Requirements7
- 15+ years experience in sunroof systems or similar mechanisms
- 2Demonstrated leadership skills ability to work autonomously and lead projects
- 3Excellent communication skills positive attitude flexibility team player and attention to detail
- 4Mechatronic component design and release experience
- 5Working knowledge of GD&T
- 6Proficiency in advanced CAD software such as NX CATIA or SolidWorks
- 7Experience with power top convertible top or sunroof components
