You'll work with NRSS in Las Vegas, NV, overseeing flagging operations and ensuring compliance with 49 CFR 214. You'll travel 50-85% and report to the District Manager. This role demands field presence and strong communication with dispatchers and train crews.

What You'll Do5

  • 1Coordinate jobsite activities to ensure safe and efficient operations for railway contractors and railroad personnel.
  • 2Communicate clearly with Dispatchers, Train Crews, and Contractor personnel, delivering precise job briefings at each site.
  • 3Enforce Railroad, State, and Federal Policies, identifying rule violations and resolving them promptly.
  • 4Submit daily field reports documenting contractor and railroad activities with accuracy.
  • 5Provide On-Track Safety in accordance with 49 CFR 214 for all projects.

Requirements9

  • 12+ years experience with Class 1 Railroad, Regional Short Line, Transit System, State DOT, or Railroad Supplier/Contractor, preferably in Maintenance Of Way (MOW).
  • 2High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3Proficient in Android OS on tablets and smartphones.
  • 4Proficient in Citrix applications.
  • 5Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • 6Technical knowledge in Railroad Engineering, Design, and Construction.
  • 7High accuracy and attention to detail with organizational skills.
  • 8Ability to travel for extended periods, sometimes months at a time.
  • 9Ability to complete Federal, Client, and Company trainings.
