Overview
Owns patient care in a busy ER unit at HonorHealth with a focus on leadership, clinical excellence, and team collaboration. What You'll Do10
- 1Lead the nursing team to deliver patient care in the ER and supervise daily operations
- 2Precept and mentor new hires and students to build competency and confidence
- 3Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop and revise patient care plans
- 4Perform and coordinate diagnostic testing, IV management, and administration of medications and therapies
- 5Evaluate patient progress and outcomes, ensuring documentation is accurate and timely
- 6Ensure adherence to clinical standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements
- 7Communicate effectively with patients families and healthcare providers
- 8Support continuous nursing education and evidence-based practice
- 9Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and competency development
- 10Assist with protocol development and staff training to improve patient flow
Requirements10
- 1Active RN license in Arizona
- 2BSN or higher within 60 months of hire or 5+ years RN experience
- 3BLS certification
- 41 year RN experience required for float positions
- 5Experience in med-surg or acute specialty setting preferred
- 6Knowledge of ANA standards and nursing ethics
- 7Strong communication and teamwork skills
- 8Ability to collect and document health data and develop care plans
- 9Charge experience preferred
- 10VA/Stroke unit education requirements may apply
