Overview
Own wound care for a skilled nursing facility near Sun Lakes, AZ, delivering RN expertise across a 13-week contract. You will manage treatment plans, document progress, and coordinate with care teams in a day-shift role with 10-hour shifts. This position places you inside an established East Valley healthcare organization, working alongside AHA BLS certified staff. A Wound Care Certification sets you apart, ensuring specialized patient outcomes.
What You'll Do7
- 1Assess and document wounds for residents using Wound Care Certification protocols.
- 2Implement treatment plans and adjust care based on patient response.
- 3Coordinate with physicians and nursing staff on RN care strategies.
- 4Administer medications and treatments per facility standards.
- 5Monitor healing progress and update electronic health records.
- 6Educate patients and families on wound prevention and care.
- 7Ensure compliance with AHA BLS and infection control guidelines.
Requirements6
- 1Active RN License in Arizona.
- 2Wound Care Certification required.
- 3AHA BLS certification current.
- 4Fingerprint Clearance Card on file.
- 5Proof of COVID Vaccine or exemption.
- 6Complete Hep B, MMR, Varicella, and Tdap vaccines.
