RN Contract Raleigh NC Star Nursing
Overview
Manage patient flow from admission to discharge and coordinate admissions across departments at Star Nursing. This is a 13 week contract position with flexible scheduling. It is different because we offer weekly payment and housing stipends.
What You'll Do11
- 1Build and maintain accurate patient records documenting all transfers and admissions
- 2Design efficient workflows to streamline patient admission processes
- 3Lead initiatives to optimize bed allocation based on patient acuity
- 4Ship patients according to clinical protocols within 30 minutes of order
- 5Support urgent admissions through collaboration with utilization management teams
- 6Review admission requests for medical necessity and ensure proper approvals
- 7Document all patient information accurately in electronic health records
- 8Coordinate interdepartmental communication to assign beds effectively
- 9Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements during patient transfers
- 10Provide exceptional patient care while meeting strict time-based performance metrics
- 11Collaborate with nursing supervisors to resolve complex clinical issues
Requirements9
- 1Resume with minimum 12 months of adolescent juvenile care experience
- 2Current RN license in good standing with NC board
- 3Valid BLS CPR certification and 2 professional references
- 4PPD TB QuantiFERON test within last 12 months
- 5Negative chest X-ray and completed TB questionnaire
- 6COVID vaccination documentation and current flu shot
- 7TB screening results within last 12 months
- 8Ability to pass background check and urine drug screen
- 9Strong communication skills for effective interdisciplinary coordination
