RN Clinical Manager, Home Health & OASIS
Overview
You own clinical operations for a high-acuity home health branch, supervising all RN, LPN, and CNA staff while ensuring compliance with Medicare and state regulations. Reporting to the Branch Administrator, you manage programs, drive quality, and coordinate with recruiting and training. This role blends hands-on patient care with strategic oversight, backed by a 10% incentive plan. What You'll Do9
- 1Hire, train, and supervise clinical staff to maintain Medicare compliance and high care standards.
- 2Conduct client home visits to assess care quality and address issues within 30 days of hire.
- 3Manage clinical programs and services, ensuring alignment with company policy and state licensing.
- 4Investigate client complaints and implement corrective actions within 5 business days.
- 5Evaluate staff performance annually and identify training gaps using OASIS data.
- 6Oversee case management to keep services financially sound while meeting patient needs.
- 7Serve as a preceptor for new RN case managers and support their orientation.
- 8Collaborate with the branch administrator on operational and financial planning for home care growth.
- 9Manage your own caseload as needed to ensure full client coverage.
Requirements6
- 13+ years of RN experience in a healthcare setting, with home health preferred.
- 2Active RN licensure in North Carolina and current CPR certification.
- 3Medicare skilled nursing experience and a working knowledge of OASIS.
- 4Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred.
- 5Basic computer proficiency for documentation and EHR systems.
- 6Ability to lead and motivate clinical teams in a high-acuity environment.
