Overview
You will own the sales floor at T-Mobile's retail partner, guiding customers to the right plants, tools, and outdoor solutions. Your team of five shares your passion for gardening and landscape maintenance. You will turn first-time visitors into loyal buyers with floral design advice and POS accuracy. This role stands out for its focus on horticulture and outdoor work.
What You'll Do8
- 1Greet customers warmly and ask discovery questions to match them with gardening and lawn care products
- 2Operate the POS system for accurate cash handling, returns, and exchanges in the first 30 days
- 3Maintain inviting displays and restock plants, gardening supplies, and outdoor equipment daily
- 4Identify plant species and diagnose issues to guide informed purchases
- 5Support landscape maintenance tasks like watering, pruning, and yard cleanup as needed
- 6Assist with floral design projects and seasonal displays that boost store appeal
- 7Communicate product features and services over phone and in person
- 8Handle cashier duties including retail math for inventory and transactions
Requirements7
- 11+ years in retail sales or customer service
- 21+ years working with POS systems and cash handling
- 3Knowledge of plant identification and landscape maintenance
- 4Experience with retail math for transactions
- 5Ability to stand for 8+ hours and lift 50+ lbs
- 6Strong communication skills in English
- 7Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
