Retail Sales Associate, Furniture Showroom Commission
Overview
You will own the full sales cycle at The Furniture Warehouse, a Top 100 U.S. Furniture Retailer with six Gulf Coast showrooms. You will greet customers, guide them through product selections, promotions, and financing, and input orders using a point-of-sale system. You will join a high-energy sales team that rewards performance with commission, monthly spiffs, and incentives. Top performers earn $70K–$80K+ annually. Paid training is provided, and you will work with industry-leading POS software to manage orders and deliveries.
What You'll Do7
- 1Greet customers and help them select furniture that fits their space and style, using POS to check inventory and pricing.
- 2Educate customers on promotions, financing options, and warranties, and close sales to meet personal and team goals.
- 3Input orders and coordinate deliveries using the POS system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- 4Stay current on showroom displays and maintain a clean, welcoming environment to drive foot traffic.
- 5Deliver a great customer experience to build repeat business and referrals, earning commission and spiffs.
- 6Learn product features and benefits to answer questions confidently, leveraging training and inventory tools.
- 7Collaborate with team members to handle high-volume weekends and holidays, ensuring smooth operations.
Requirements8
- 1High School Diploma or GED
- 2Strong people skills and ability to build relationships with customers
- 3Sales or customer service experience preferred but not required
- 4Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- 5Comfortable using a computer and POS system
- 6Ability to move light furniture for demos
- 7Background check free of criminal activity
- 8Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus
