Retail Sales Associate, Floor & Decor & Customer Service
Overview
Own the customer journey on the sales floor at Floor & Decor with accurate product recommendations and friendly service. You will maintain in stock conditions, process checkout, and support a safe, fast paced store environment. This role offers both full-time and part-time options and paths for growth.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build rapport with customers and suggest products for their projects
- 2Maintain in stock conditions and ensure shelves are clean and shoppable
- 3Process transactions at checkout and handle refunds according to guidelines
- 4Stock, tag, and display merchandise with attention to pricing and signage
- 5Support store management and team to hit sales goals and safety standards
- 6Assist in other store areas as needed and respond to customer inquiries
- 7Answer phone calls and follow company protocols for service
- 8Create price tags and merchandise displays to attract customers
- 9Operate in a fast paced environment with accuracy
- 10Maintain compliance with safety processes and company values
Requirements10
- 1Must be 18 years or older
- 2Knowledge of basic math skills
- 3Customer service experience
- 4Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
- 5Some positions may require forklift certification through F&D
- 6If applicable, certification to use heavy equipment and drug test where permitted by law
- 7Ability to lift 30-60 pounds occasionally and 20-30 pounds frequently
- 8Ability to stand, walk, reach, climb, kneel, and crouch for extended periods
- 9Willingness to work flexible store hours and shifts
- 10Basic reading and communication skills for store procedures
