What You'll Do10

  • 1Build and supervise staff operations for daily cafeteria, catering, and on-site dining programs in Boston MA
  • 2Design and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting to meet cost controls and profitability targets
  • 3Lead procurement, inventory, and vendor relationships to sustain quality and cost efficiency
  • 4Oversee sanitation, safety, and compliance across assigned unit(s) in line with health regulations
  • 5Roll out new culinary programs with marketing and culinary teams to enhance guest experience
  • 6Act as primary client liaison to sustain strong public relations and service levels
  • 7Drive continuous improvement in service delivery and guest interactions through coaching and feedback
  • 8Manage scheduling, payroll, and performance management of hourly associates
  • 9Monitor market trends and adapt offerings to stay competitive
  • 10Ensure accurate cash handling and financial controls across operations

Requirements8

  • 1Culinary degree preferred, or A.A. Degree plus related experience
  • 2Three or more years supervisory experience in food service operations
  • 3Supervisory experience in healthcare, senior living, retirement or related environment desirable
  • 4Knowledge of retail, food and catering trends with focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
  • 5Leadership, management and coaching skills with strong communication
  • 6Financial, budgetary, accounting and computational skills
  • 7Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office programs, e-mail, the Internet and other necessary programs
  • 8ServSafe Certified
