Retail Manager, Arena Football Team Store
Overview
You will own the grand opening and daily operations of the Arizona Nighthawks team store at Chandler Fashion Center, from inventory to staff leadership. Reporting directly to the front office, you will manage a small team and drive sales during the football season. This role is distinct for its hands-on ownership of the store's launch and its direct impact on fan experience.
What You'll Do7
- 1Lead hiring, training, and coaching for the store team to deliver high-performance service.
- 2Run daily store operations, including opening and closing, cash handling, and POS transactions.
- 3Own inventory management, stock replenishment, merchandising, and pricing to cut shrinkage.
- 4Drive sales growth through targeted promotions and customer engagement strategies.
- 5Negotiate with vendors and manage purchasing to ensure product availability.
- 6Track sales, inventory, and payroll metrics to spot and act on improvement areas.
- 7Build a positive team culture through clear communication and ongoing development.
Requirements8
- 13+ years managing a retail store or department with direct staff supervision.
- 2Proven skill in inventory control, merchandising, and POS systems.
- 3Strong financial skills in budgeting, bookkeeping, and payroll processing.
- 4Excellent communication and customer engagement abilities.
- 5Ability to handle multiple priorities and adapt to changing needs.
- 6Bilingual or multilingual a plus for diverse customer base.
