Retail Co-Manager, Store Leadership & Operations
Overview
Manage daily store operations at a high-volume Hobby Lobby location, owning team leadership, visual merchandising, and inventory control. Collaborate with the Store Manager to drive sales and maintain a creative, customer-focused environment. Supervise a team of 20-50 associates, ensuring operational excellence and visual standards. This role offers a clear path to Store Manager through demonstrated leadership and relocation flexibility.
What You'll Do8
- 1Lead daily store operations, opening and closing the store, and managing cash handling procedures.
- 2Train and develop department heads, providing coaching on visual merchandising and customer engagement.
- 3Drive sales growth by analyzing store metrics and adjusting merchandising strategies with inventory management tools.
- 4Conduct weekly cycle counts and oversee inventory receiving, using RF scanners for accuracy.
- 5Coordinate seasonal product launches, ensuring planograms are executed and displays are refreshed.
- 6Resolve customer issues with a hands-on approach, maintaining high satisfaction scores.
- 7Schedule staff and manage labor budgets to meet payroll targets.
- 8Perform safety audits and ensure compliance with company policies and OSHA standards.
Requirements5
- 13+ years of retail management experience, with store leadership in a senior role
- 2Proven ability to drive sales and control shrink in a high-volume environment
- 3Strong knowledge of POS systems, inventory software, and Microsoft Office
- 4Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
- 5Open to relocation for promotion opportunities within the company
