As a Retail Ambassador at Rothy's Westside Provisions, you own the customer experience on the sales floor, driving personal sales and building lasting relationships in a sustainable fashion retail setting. You represent the brand in every interaction, from greeting customers to sharing the story behind our eco-conscious products. This role stands out for its focus on clienteling and community, with 90% of your time dedicated to customer engagement.
What You'll Do6
- 1Deliver the Rothy's Experience to every customer, embodying the brand through presentation, communication, and product expertise.
- 2Drive personal sales and contribute to team goals by engaging customers with personalized styling recommendations.
- 3Build lasting customer relationships through strong clienteling practices, tracking preferences and following up on future needs.
- 4Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and service-driven store culture by modeling collaborative, team-focused behavior.
- 5Execute daily store operations on the operational side, including stock replenishment, visual merchandising support, and store organization with 10% of your time.
- 6Follow established procedures and SOPs to ensure compliance and operational excellence in all store tasks.
Requirements9
- 118 years of age or older.
- 2Previous retail or customer service experience strongly preferred.
- 3Strong communication skills with the ability to build genuine customer connections.
- 4A passion for service and the drive to achieve personal and team sales goals.
- 5Willingness to support operational tasks as part of the team.
- 6Availability to work at least 16 hours/week, either 3 peak days (Fri-Sun + holidays) or 2 peak days + 2 non-peak days.
- 7Ability to stand/walk for entire shift and lift/push/carry up to 25 lbs.
- 8Ability to bend, reach, stretch, and safely use ladders and step stools.
- 9Commitment to upholding the Rothy's Experience, including wearing Rothy's shoes during every shift.
