Overview
As a Retail Ambassador, you own the customer experience in our University Village store, delivering best-in-class service that drives sales and builds lasting loyalty. You'll join a team of Rothy's experts known for their deep product knowledge and sustainable mission. Your role balances 90% clienteling and 10% operational support, creating a welcoming, inclusive environment. This part-time position offers flexible peak-day scheduling and a $21.30 per hour base pay.
What You'll Do5
- 1Deliver the Rothy's Experience to every customer, embodying brand values through presentation, communication, and product expertise.
- 2Drive personal sales and contribute to team goals by building genuine connections through strong clienteling practices.
- 3Model collaborative, team-focused behavior to foster a positive, inclusive, and service-driven store culture.
- 4Execute daily operational tasks, including stock replenishment, visual merchandising, and store organization and cleanliness.
- 5Demonstrate knowledge of store operations and policies, following procedures and SOPs to ensure compliance.
Requirements9
- 118+ years of age or older.
- 2Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
- 3Strong communication skills to build genuine customer connections.
- 4Passion for service and drive to achieve personal and team sales goals.
- 5Willingness to support operational tasks as part of the team.
- 6Availability to work at least 16 hours/week, either 3 Peak Days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday + Holidays) or 2 Peak Days + 2 Non-Peak Days (Monday-Thursday).
- 7Ability to stand/walk an entire shift and lift, push, carry, or move up to 25 lbs.
- 8Ability to bend, reach, stretch, and safely use ladders and step stools.
- 9Willingness to follow dress code, including wearing Rothy's shoes during every shift.
