Lead and coordinate planning organizing training and leadership to achieve sales costs employee retention guest service food quality cleanliness and sanitation. Drive operational excellence through effective team management and strategic execution.
What You'll Do16
- 1Understand completely all policies procedures standards specifications and training programs
- 2Conduct table visits to ensure guests feel welcome and receive responsive friendly and courteous service
- 3Ensure food and products are prepared and served according to recipes portioning cooking and serving standards
- 4Achieve company objectives in sales service quality facility appearance sanitation and cleanliness through employee training and positive work environment
- 5Control cash and other receipts adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures
- 6Make employment and termination decisions consistent with General Manager guidelines
- 7Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations
- 8Continuously develop staff in managerial and professional development areas
- 9Prepare required paperwork including forms reports and schedules in an organized timely manner
- 10Maintain equipment cleanliness and excellent working condition through personal inspection and preventative maintenance programs
- 11Ensure product receipt accuracy and delivery compliance with receiving policies
- 12Oversee restaurant policies on employee performance appraisals and complete them timely
- 13Schedule labor as required by anticipated business activity while staffing positions appropriately and meeting labor cost objectives
- 14Administer prompt fair and consistent corrective actions for policy violations
- 15Comply with federal state county and municipal regulations related to health safety and labor requirements
- 16Provide advice and suggestions to General Manager as needed
Requirements8
- 1Be 21 years of age
- 2Communicate and understand predominant language(s) of the restaurant trading area
- 3Have knowledge of service and food and beverage involving at least 3 years FOH operations or assistant management
- 4Possess excellent basic math skills and ability to operate cash register or POS system
- 5Knowledge of R365 and Toast POS
- 6Standing position for up to 5 hours
- 7Ability to reach bend stoop and lift up to 50 pounds
- 8Stamina to work 50-60 hours per week
