What You'll Do9
- 1Install, repair, and troubleshoot residential electrical systems, including wiring, outlets, lighting, and breaker panels.
- 2Perform electrical repairs, installations, and service upgrades on scheduled service calls.
- 3Read and interpret blueprints, electrical diagrams, and wiring plans to execute jobs accurately.
- 4Diagnose electrical issues using testing tools and recommend effective solutions to customers.
- 5Explain electrical findings and solutions clearly, and document work in service reports.
- 6Guide and support apprentices in the field to foster team skill development.
- 7Coordinate with customers, contractors, and inspectors to ensure code compliance and quality.
- 8Follow NEC, OSHA, and company safety protocols, maintaining a clean job site.
- 9Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles, tracking materials as required.
Requirements9
- 1Current Texas Residential Wireman License (required).
- 21+ years of residential electrical service and/or installation experience.
- 3Clean driving record and ability to pass drug and background checks.
- 4Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and safety protocols.
- 5Effective communication and customer service skills.
- 6Ability to work independently and manage workflow.
- 7Comfort with computers and mobile technology; Microsoft Office experience preferred.
- 8OSHA 10 Construction Certification preferred.
- 9Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and follow all safety protocols.
