Overview

What You'll Do10
- 1Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in residential and commercial properties, delivering code-compliant results on every job.
- 2Upgrade electrical panels to meet current NEC requirements and increase power capacity for clients.
- 3Perform precise load calculations to ensure systems handle capacity needs without overload.
- 4Install or repair service entrances, including main disconnects and meter bases, for safe power distribution.
- 5Wire new construction projects, from single-family homes to large commercial buildings, following blueprints and specs.
- 6Execute grounding and bonding to prevent shock hazards and ensure system safety.
- 7Troubleshoot and repair faulty circuit breakers, fuses, and wiring issues to restore functionality.
- 8Install and maintain lighting control systems, including dimmers and occupancy sensors, for energy efficiency.
- 9Install and maintain electrical distribution systems, including transformers and distribution boards, for reliable power flow.
- 10Conduct thorough inspections to ensure all work rigorously complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
Requirements7
- 12+ years of proven experience as a licensed electrician in both commercial and residential settings.
- 2Valid Licensed Electrician certification (e.g., Journeyman or Master license).
- 3Hold a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation to travel to job sites.
- 4Own a complete set of electrical tools for installation, repair, and troubleshooting tasks.
- 5Ability to work independently with a proactive attitude and deliver top-notch service without supervision.
- 6Strong knowledge of NEC code requirements and safety standards.
- 7Physical stamina to work on ladders, in tight spaces, and in various weather conditions.
