Overview
You will own residential and light commercial HVAC service calls across the Tampa area, ensuring systems run safely and efficiently for over 5,000 homeowners. On a typical day, you will diagnose, maintain, and repair split systems, heat pumps, package units, and thermostats, while delivering clear customer communication. You will work from a company truck, dispatched from home, with company-provided tools and a full tool account. This role offers year-round stability, a performance-driven pay structure with expected annual earnings of $60,000-$100,000+, and paid technical training to advance your career.
What You'll Do7
- 1Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including split systems, heat pumps, and package units.
- 2Perform preventative maintenance on residential and light commercial cooling and heating equipment.
- 3Inspect electrical and mechanical components to identify issues and recommend repairs.
- 4Communicate repair options clearly with customers and deliver a customer-first service experience.
- 5Complete accurate service documentation and maintain a clean, organized company vehicle.
- 6Install thermostats and indoor air quality equipment as needed.
- 7Participate in rotating on-call schedule covering evenings and weekends.
Requirements7
- 13+ years of residential HVAC service experience required.
- 2EPA Certification preferred.
- 3Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
- 4Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- 5Experience with light commercial equipment a plus.
- 6Dependable and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- 7Excellent communication and customer service skills.
