Overview

Lead the Residential Engineering team at Four Seasons Private Residences in San Francisco. You will own the design and delivery of building systems ensuring safety and comfort for residents. This role drives strategic decisions and collaborates with senior leadership to maintain premium living experiences.

What You'll Do11

  • 1Assist the Director of Engineering in building maintenance tasks covering electrical plumbing generator steam gas fire safety and more
  • 2Oversee engineering projects and coordinate resident requests ensuring compliance with policies
  • 3Work with the Director of Residences to conduct weekly monthly walkthroughs of common areas
  • 4Manage maintenance staff including hiring training scheduling and performance evaluations
  • 5Prepare requisitions and liaise with directors to execute service requests efficiently
  • 6Communicate with board homeowners and tenants regarding building maintenance impacts
  • 7Coordinate third party vendors for window washing landscaping and elevator services
  • 8Maintain asset registers track inventory logs and review daily meter readings
  • 9Support energy conservation programs to meet budget targets
  • 10Co-lead the Four Seasons for Good Committee and develop relationships with external contractors
  • 11Ensure fire/life safety equipment is operational and emergency procedures are practiced

Requirements9

  • 1Minimum 5 years engineering experience with residential facilities including plumbing electrical and HVAC systems
  • 2Trade degree in Mechanical Electrical Civil Engineering or equivalent hospitality/residential engineering background
  • 3Certifications such as CPC Card BOMI or RPA preferred
  • 4Strong analytical skills and ability to read blueprints wiring diagrams and hydraulics
  • 5Excellent communication and leadership abilities with fluent English proficiency
  • 6Experience managing maintenance teams in luxury resort settings
  • 7Knowledge of Four Seasons cultural standards and operational policies
  • 8Flexible availability for all shifts weekends and holidays
  • 9Ability to work collaboratively within cross functional teams
