Overview
The Research Technician leads laboratory operations supporting post‑doctoral fellows and Principal Investigators. This full‑time role involves independent experiment work database management reagent ordering and collaborative lab maintenance. Successful candidates will own processes at scale and differentiate themselves through technical expertise.
What You'll Do9
- 1Design Build Test and Validate Experiments to meet project objectives
- 2Maintain detailed records of procedures protocols and results
- 3Operate advanced instrumentation such as Spark and Airflow
- 4Analyze data using statistical tools and present findings clearly
- 5Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot technical challenges
- 6Support daily lab activities including sample preparation and equipment calibration
- 7Contribute to database design and regular updates
- 8Order reagents and manage inventory to avoid disruptions
- 9Participate in routine equipment calibration and routine troubleshooting
Requirements5
- 1Bachelor of Science degree in molecular cell biology or related field
- 25+ years of laboratory experience with proven detail orientation
- 3Master’s degree preferred along with 1+ years scientific experience
- 4Strong command of Python and cloud platforms like AWS
- 5Certification such as CPC Card or BCBA valued
