Research Assistant, Data Collection
Overview
Research Assistant will collect and manage clinical data for Metro Infectious Disease Consultants in Chicago. Under Director of Research, you will support multiple research projects, ensuring data accuracy and protocol compliance. This is a 90-day temporary role with potential for extension based on performance. You will work onsite with a M-F (8:30am-5pm) schedule at $20/hour. This role offers direct experience with clinical trial data management and collaboration with Clinical Research Associates.
What You'll Do6
- 1Enter data into the data capture system with high accuracy for sponsor and CRO monitoring.
- 2Maintain organized access to all experimental data for Faculty Researcher and supervisors.
- 3Assist Clinical Research Associates during on-site and remote monitoring visits.
- 4Process invoices for clinical trial budgets and track payments.
- 5Attend project meetings and coordinate with staff via email and phone.
- 6Adapt to evolving project needs and support additional data tasks as assigned.
Requirements4
- 1High school diploma required.
- 2Preferred: completed degree from an accredited institution in social sciences or health-related discipline.
- 3Preferred: experience in the medical field.
- 4Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems preferred.
