Rental Car Supervisor PM Shift Miami
Overview
Own the PM shift at a high-volume rental car operation in Miami, driving productivity and safety across a team of 10-20 employees. Supervise daily operations from 2pm to 11pm, ensuring performance benchmarks are met. Partner with the Site Manager to implement process improvements. This role demands leadership presence and hands-on problem-solving during peak hours.
What You'll Do7
- 1Monitor all employees scheduled on your PM shift to ensure productivity standards are met and safety protocols followed.
- 2Coach and mentor new hires on vehicle inspection and cleaning procedures to meet customer expectations.
- 3Complete required paperwork and documentation related to productivity metrics and submit daily reports.
- 4Cover for the Site Manager on days off and execute directed tasks to maintain operational continuity.
- 5Step in as a driver, transporter lead, or VSA (car cleaner) when needed to fulfill customer demand.
- 6Enforce safety protocols and address non-compliance immediately to maintain a safe work environment.
- 7Conduct shift handoff briefings to ensure seamless transition between AM and PM operations.
Requirements6
- 121+ years old with a valid Driver's License and a clean driving record for the past 3 years.
- 21+ year of supervisory experience in a customer-facing or rental car environment.
- 31+ year of customer service experience, demonstrating conflict resolution skills.
- 4High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
- 5Availability to work PM shifts (2pm-11pm), including weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- 6Ability to work both part-time and full-time hours as scheduled.
