Overview
The Regulatory Compliance Analyst will own regulatory compliance activities across the U.S. portfolio, supporting the Senior Director in managing filings and obligations for agencies such as FERC NERC and state commissions. This role drives process improvements and fosters a collaborative environment focused on safety integrity and sustainability.
What You'll Do11
- 1Develop replicable processes to complete regulatory filings accurately and on time
- 2Assess and catalog registration and reporting obligations for RTO ISO entities
- 3Manage regulatory logins and shared inboxes for seamless communication
- 4Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align compliance with operational goals
- 5Maintain comprehensive compliance calendars and training programs
- 6Gather site-specific data for new projects and regulatory documentation
- 7Support document control and maintain a centralized regulatory library
- 8Stay current with evolving regulatory requirements at FERC NERC and reliability entities
- 9Drive continuous improvement in compliance practices and knowledge sharing
- 10Collaborate with legal and operations teams to ensure regulatory adherence
- 11Contribute to a fast-paced renewable energy environment with innovative solutions
Requirements11
- 1Bachelor’s degree in business public policy or energy fields with relevant experience
- 23-5 years of experience in renewable energy compliance or regulatory affairs
- 3Proven ability to manage multiple regulatory obligations across complex projects
- 4Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and process optimization
- 5Experience with NERC CCR and FERC Part 3620 compliance frameworks
- 6Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- 7Familiarity with energy market operations and utility interconnection processes
- 8Ability to thrive in hybrid work environments with remote collaboration capabilities
- 9Commitment to ethical standards and regulatory best practices
- 10Demonstrated experience in data-driven decision making for compliance outcomes
