What You'll Do11
- 1Greet and support patients before during and after their appointment
- 2Take and process dental radiographs impressions and intraoral photos
- 3Prepare and sterilize the treatment room and equipment
- 4Provide chairside assistance during treatment procedures
- 5Document dental care services by charting patient records
- 6Maintain a clean sterile patient centered working environment
- 7Lead initiatives to improve office efficiency
- 8Train new hires on pediatric dental protocols
- 9Coordinate with specialists for complex cases
- 10Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
- 11Participate in community outreach programs
Requirements9
- 1Active license/registration to practice as a dental assistant as required by your state
- 26+ months of experience as a dental assistant
- 3CPR or BLS certification
- 4Completion of a CODA accredited dental assisting program preferred
- 5Quick learner with strong problem solving skills
- 6Ability to act with integrity professionalism and confidentiality
- 7Comfortable with software used for charting records and scheduling
- 8Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- 9Organized with strong knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology
