Overview
Contract Registered Nurse supporting students at high school level in Framingham MA. Provide 1:1 nursing care for a specialized educational setting from August 26th through June 15th. Help a student with Diabetes Insipidus manage health safely in school environment.
What You'll Do8
- 1Meet the student at school daily and provide one-on-one nursing care throughout the school day
- 2Monitor and ensure correct fluid intake
- 3Assist the student as needed during restroom breaks including wheelchair assistance
- 4Administer a noon dose of medication and observe for urgent symptoms
- 5Maintain clear communication with school staff and support student well-being
- 6Adhere to all protocols privacy requirements and best practices in school nursing
- 7Be onsite from 8:30am-3pm Monday Tuesday Thursday Friday and 8:30am-2pm Wednesday
- 8Make a daily impact and support a student’s success in school
Requirements8
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Active RN certification or licensure required
- 3Prior experience as a school nurse with demonstrated skills in a school-based setting
- 4Successful background in providing individualized healthcare support especially with complex medical needs
- 5Competence in assisting with mobility including wheelchair use and ambulation support
- 6Ability to administer daily medication and monitor for signs of sodium imbalance
- 7Dependable transportation to and from school
- 8Committed availability to work scheduled hours; punctual and reliable
