What You'll Do9
- 1Build trusting relationships with residents and families using a consistent caregiver approach, addressing physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs.
- 2Perform all clinical duties per the Texas Nurse Practice Act and nursing standards, ensuring safety and quality.
- 3Drive resident independence by setting care goals and teaching families about conditions, medications, and self-care.
- 4Monitor clinical and care conditions, acting on changes to ensure comfort and safety.
- 5Administer medications, perform treatments, and maintain infection prevention practices.
- 6Collaborate with care associates to deliver routine nursing care to assigned residents.
- 7Develop and coordinate a holistic plan of care with the interdisciplinary team, incorporating resident preferences.
- 8Document resident care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record.
- 9Participate in care conferences as requested by the Clinical Manager.
Requirements5
- 1Active RN license in Texas and graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program.
- 26+ months experience as an RN.
- 3Passion for caring for seniors.
- 4Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
- 5CPR certification required.
