What You'll Do8
- 1Administer chemotherapeutic and biologic agents as prescribed by physicians
- 2Recognize treat complications and manage supportive care medications
- 3Monitor vital signs and document medication administration records
- 4Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to share clinical expertise
- 5Participate in clinical trials and administer study medications per protocol
- 6Provide emotional support and educational resources to patients and caregivers
- 7Track patient responses to therapies and maintain accurate medical charts
- 8Conduct patient education on post-treatment care and emergency procedures
Requirements8
- 1Valid New York State RN License
- 2Basic Life Support certification
- 3Proficiency with electronic medical records systems
- 4Ability to lift 50 pounds
- 5Reliable transportation for field visits
- 6Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
- 7Experience with oncology protocols
- 8Understanding of bloodborne pathogen safety procedures
