What You'll Do7
- 1Assist the endodontist during root canal treatments, retreatments, and apical surgeries using CBCT and digital imaging.
- 2Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms per OSHA, HIPAA, and CDC protocols.
- 3Take dental radiographs, including digital X-rays and CBCT scans, ensuring diagnostic clarity.
- 4Maintain accurate patient records, charting, and clinical documentation in dental software systems.
- 5Provide chairside support and educate patients on post-operative care for smooth recovery.
- 6Manage inventory of clinical supplies, reorder materials, and track expiration dates.
- 7Operate operating microscopes and rotary endodontic systems for enhanced precision.
Requirements8
- 1Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in CA preferred.
- 2Valid dental X-Ray license required.
- 31+ years of endodontic assisting experience strongly preferred.
- 4Familiarity with dental software, digital imaging, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- 5Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction and team collaboration.
- 6Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced clinical setting.
- 7Experience with operating microscopes and rotary endodontic systems preferred.
- 8Knowledge of CBCT imaging is a plus.
