What You'll Do6
- 1Assist the dentist chairside during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques
- 2Prepare operatories instruments and materials while maintaining sterilization and infection control protocols
- 3Perform digital X-rays digital scans and other diagnostic imaging as needed
- 4Maintain accurate patient records medical histories and clinical documentation using dental software
- 5Educate patients on procedures and post-operative care while ensuring an efficient organized positive clinical environment
- 6Communicate effectively with the dentist hygienists and front office staff to support patient care
Requirements5
- 1Valid California Registered Dental Assistant RDA license and required dental X-ray certification
- 2Strong chairside assisting skills with knowledge of dental procedures terminology and infection control protocols
- 3Comfort with digital X-rays dental technology and electronic patient records
- 4Excellent communication organizational and teamwork skills with strong attention to detail
- 5Warm positive and enthusiastic personality
