Overview
Deliver individual behavioral treatment to children with Autism in a non-public elementary school in West Chester, PA, full-time at 30 hours per week for the 2026-27 school year. Work under a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to increase behavioral, learning, play, and social skills. 6+ months paid experience as an active RBT or 1+ year hands-on experience with special needs children is required. This role offers mandatory supervision and reimbursement for RBT certification, plus mileage pay.
What You'll Do8
- 1Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to a child with Autism, implementing behavior intervention plans designed by a BCBA.
- 2Collect accurate behavior and skill acquisition data during each session, documenting daily progress.
- 3Collaborate with BCBA and school staff to adjust teaching strategies and ensure treatment fidelity.
- 4Enhance play and social interaction using positive reinforcement and natural environment teaching.
- 5Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality while working in classroom and community settings.
- 6Complete daily contact reports and update client graphs to track progress toward goals.
- 7Attend mandatory supervision meetings and accept additional training in ABA techniques as needed.
- 8Drive to school location and between client homes, managing schedule with mileage reimbursement.
Requirements5
- 16+ months paid experience as an active Registered Behavior Technician or 1+ year paid hands-on experience with children with special needs.
- 2Hold all necessary State/Federal clearances for work with children, including Child Abuse and FBI clearances.
- 3Possess reliable independent transportation with current, valid auto registration, driver's license, and auto insurance.
- 4Demonstrated punctuality and reliability in previous employment.
- 5Willingness to complete additional training in ABA techniques and obtain RBT certification if not already held.
