Regional Field Director, Canvassing Operations
Overview
Own a defined region inside a state-level canvassing program, directing a team of 10+ canvassers and their leads to hit door-count and quality targets on a tight timeline. You will recruit, train, and manage your turf while enforcing data integrity and fraud prevention. Reporting to the State Field Director, you coordinate with operations on staffing and logistics, and report regional numbers daily. This role demands direct team management and operational discipline, with hours tracking a program that runs evenings and weekends. You will relocate to Georgia, with placement depending on the program.
What You'll Do8
- 1Run day-to-day field operations for a region of 10+ canvassers and their team leads
- 2Recruit, train, and manage canvassers; develop team leads within your region
- 3Execute the region's piece of the state staffing plan: set canvasser schedules, cover open turf, and verify canvasser hours daily
- 4Enforce data quality and field integrity standards, including spot-checks and fraud prevention
- 5Hold daily and weekly production goals; track performance and course-correct in-day
- 6Coordinate with the operations team on recruitment pipeline and supply logistics for your region
- 7Report regional numbers to the State Field Director on a daily cadence
- 8Perform other duties as the program requires
Requirements6
- 11+ cycles of field experience
- 2Experience managing a field team; experience managing managers preferred
- 3Track record of meeting metric-driven goals on deadline
- 4Proficient with VAN/Votebuilder and standard field tools
- 5Composed and decisive under the pressure of a live program
- 6Willing to relocate; valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
