Recruiter / HR Coordinator, Manufacturing
Overview
You will own the full-cycle recruiting process for hourly direct labor roles at a manufacturing site in Collegeville, PA, sourcing and screening candidates to meet weekly hiring goals. You will partner with site HR teams and hiring managers to speed up the hiring funnel for machine operators, production operators, and similar roles. This is a temporary position with a fast pace, demanding strong organization, clear communication, and the ability to juggle multiple openings with MS Excel and Outlook. You will own the candidate experience from first screen to start date, and build pipelines that keep production lines staffed.
What You'll Do8
- 1Source candidates for direct labor roles like machine operators, production operators, and utility operators using MS Outlook and MS Excel to track pipelines.
- 2Review applications and screen out unqualified candidates, confirming work history, shift availability, and pay expectations via phone screens.
- 3Schedule interviews with hiring managers and site HR teams, coordinating calendars in Outlook to keep interviews moving.
- 4Maintain candidate communication throughout the process, updating statuses in the applicant tracking system (ATS) daily.
- 5Track candidate progress from interview to offer to background and drug screen, using Excel to monitor stages and reduce drop-off.
- 6Post job updates and refreshes on the ATS to maintain applicant flow, and assist with hiring events and walk-in interview days.
- 7Partner with HR Managers, Generalists, and Talent Acquisition to hit weekly hiring numbers and escalate bottlenecks like slow feedback.
- 8Build a pipeline of pre-screened candidates for recurring direct labor roles, using Excel to maintain a searchable database.
Requirements9
- 11-3 years of recruiting, HR coordination, staffing, or candidate sourcing experience.
- 2Experience supporting hourly, direct labor, warehouse, production, or manufacturing recruiting strongly preferred.
- 3Strong communication and follow-up skills with candidates and hiring managers.
- 4Ability to manage multiple job openings and priorities simultaneously.
- 5Comfortable conducting phone screens and speaking with candidates throughout the day.
- 6Strong attention to detail and ability to track candidate activity accurately.
- 7Experience with an applicant tracking system (ATS) preferred.
- 8Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
- 9Ability to work independently and move quickly in a high-volume environment.
